An educational VR experience developed during my internship with NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale. During the experience, the viewer is able to choose three items found in the room and learn about the origin of color pigments while physically painting in that pigment on a canvas in front of them.
The viewer is placed into the studio of an art forger and must complete a masterpiece, but to create a work of art they must understand their pigments.
During the development process, me and my team created all of the 3d models and 2d works seen throughout the room. I developed many of the models including the canvas, easel, room, gramophone, stools, and more.
This project was created in unity, which is a development software for developing game. I taught myself the basics and learned along the way. I created a main story code and added in aspects in order for the experience to be unique to all the viewers. Every person that views, gets to create their own individual masterpiece.
